Green Chilly
Green Chilly are a South Wales based company designing, developing, and delivering ecologically friendly cooling products. Their first product, the Fwrap, uses patented technology for multiple cooling applications and is eco-friendly.
As climate change continues to cause temperatures to increase, cooling technology has an increasing importance both at home and for businesses and services. Green Chilly are currently selling Fwrap to consumers for wine and beverage cooling but are looking to expend the technology for use in the health sector.
Green Chilly are receiving support from Innovation Strategy, our lead partner, to develop a project with the Hywel Dda University Health Board and the TriTech Institute to examine potential applications for their Fwrap technology for blood transportation and other aspects of healthcare. They plan to roll out solutions across the Hywel Dda University Health Board catchment area to understand the feasibility of the application and to benefit residents in rural areas across Carmarthenshire. The Innovation Net Zero team is supporting the development of larger projects, helping them raise investment, and developing their business plans.
